In a minimal signal area, a setup with long cable runs, or perhaps a multiple TV system, the AP-8700 preamp could be the solution you need for a perfect digital picture. Winegard AP series preamps are made of tough, high-impact ABS material and the zinc plated steel hardware ensure electronic parts feel safe through the elements. They have a selectable and tunable FM trap to cut back strong local FM stations from interfering along with your perfect digital picture. They also employ specialized circuitry featuring an ultra-fast recovery diode. A power supply and mounting hardware are included.
Minimize HDTV Signal Dropouts
The Winegard number of pre-amplifiers have a 75-Ohm input with flexible polyethylene boot covers for convenience and much easier installation. The universal housing can be used with any off-air TV antenna. Made of high-impact ABS material, the Winegard pre-amplifier might be mast mounted for simple installation. The AP8700 is sold with zinc-plated steel hardware, and all mounting hardware is included.
A selectable FM trap reduces FM signals (88-108 MHz) by -15 dB to prevent overload. A tunable FM trap reduces a 3 MHz band width by -12 dB. Both are adjustable and switchable without opening the housing.
Transistor burn-out is virtually eliminated with specialized circuitry featuring a quick recovery diode that protects against lightning-caused pulses. The pre-amplifier posseses an operating temperature variety of -40 to +140 degrees F, plus a 117 VAC, UL, and CSA-approved power supply is included. (Does not include F-connectors.)
